Bath Time
It seems like bauerconfidential.com has become all baby all the time. This post is not going to change that. Right now my life revolves around Jocelyn and there’s not much else going on of interest. So I present to you a little bath time montage. After showing you her pouty lip last week, I thought I’d add to it showing the whole bathing experience. It’s gotten less traumatic since these pictures were taken. She no longer wails inconsolably while being bathed.

Here we are, getting ready to go in the tub. She's all smiles and laughs.

During the bath.

After the bath, getting some comfort from Daddy.
She is soooo cute!
Absolutely your life should be revolving around her at the moment and we don’t mind the photos and parenting stories.
I hope you are settling into some kind of routine. From memory the first 6-8 weeks were a hellish routine of feeding and catching only a couple of hours sleep at a time. After that Zach knew night from day. I hope Jocelyn has reached that point.
The real reason she is so upset is that she knows these photos of her naked, taking a bath, will end up on the internet. You’d cry too.
So cute!!!! I swear sometimes Andrew still cries his head off in bath time and he’s two!
As for the blog……we’ll mine shifted too when Andrew was born. In all reality that’s really want people (especially the grannies!) want to read about anyway!
It’s actually quite fun to look back and read how you were feeling at the time and also being a little grateful that those stages are over.
Sinead: We’re pretty lucky, she sleeps in good three to four hour chunks at night. The afternoon is her difficult period. She gets tired but just won’t sleep. I just can’t imagine leaving her for work
DeAnna: That made me chuckle. I picked the least revealing pictures to post here. Matthew thought it was silly to take pictures of her taking a bath, but I wanted them for leverage later in life, so I can always threaten showing them off to embarrass her if she won’t do what I want. I’m not above blackmail.
Nothing wrong with a fair bit of baby time on the blog! Maybe it’s the water temperature? Too warm or cold? Or maybe she just doesn’t like water!
Wow, she’s cute. I think she looks just like Matt. I have this idea that baby girls usually look just like their father when very young. It’s been true in every case I’ve ever seen personally. I don’t know about little boys.
I’m going to speculate it has something to do with….I’m not sure. What do you think?
Hi Tom! I think she looks a lot like Matthew too! I think it’s easy to see resemblance between a mom and daughter or son and dad so people look harder to see the similarities between dad’s and daughters. Just a theory!
