Wordless Wednesday: Four Generations of Women

Me (the little girl) in the lap of my great-grandmother, with my grandmother and mother standing behind. Circa 1979 or 1980.

The next grouping of four generations of women from the same family! Circa 2009.

Spanning four generations on the other side of my family, my paternal grandmother with Jocelyn and I. Circa 2009.
Hope you’ll excuse the explanations as this isn’t truly wordless.

You are so blessed to have four generations! Thanks for sharing!
very pretty
wonderful to have those memories to look back on. Not everyone has photos of generations like that.
I was just going to say the same: you’re so lucky to have these photos to show your own kids later on! I wish I had photos of my parents when they were kids.
By the way, you won this week’s giveaway so send me your address when you can
I really enjoy seeing the pictures. It’s amazing how much time changes people, AT LEAST ON THE OUTSIDE. Anyway, I think that between the two pictures we can see a total of 5 generations, with only 4 alive today.
You’re right mom, it is a total of five generations with four in each picture. I’m very luck to have such healthy grandparents! I hope someday J will appreciate these pictures, I know I definitely do now!
Great shots. My family’s coming out in a few weeks, will have to make sure to get three generations of men. Unfortunately that’s all we’ve got.
Fantastic – 4 G together.
So are we, but we are one woman (my Mother – 90) and the rest of the bunch are males.
