UP!
Jocelyn really likes books, and she really likes having us read them to her. I really like reading to her, so it’s a win-win. I like it when she tosses a book in, and proceeds to crawl onto, my lap because, well, it is just time to read. The only problem is that she gets fixated on a particular book and wants it read over and over and over and…you get the idea. It becomes a challenge really, a challenge to find new ways to read or tell the simple toddler story.

OMG she is so cute! I gotta tell you, I have the ABC’s by Dr. Suess memorized, as I have read nearly every night for almost 3 years. Go ahead, ask me any letter, I’m all over it.
Jessica: both of us too, though we’ve changed a few too, like B, we sub in baby Bauer’s bellybutton B B B… and J, we sub in Jocelyn’s jelly jar, J J J
Kyle likes the ABC’s Dr Suess book, but loooves Green Eggs and Ham – I definitely have that one memorized. He likes Goodnight Gorilla, too – loves finding the balloon on each page.
Reading before bed is one of my favorite times of day!
Amy: we don’t have Green Eggs and Ham yet, haven’t seen it in a board book and J likes to crumple paper too much for real books.
Goodnight Gorilla has so many funny little things to find on each page, I didn’t notice the balloon right away, but now I get a kick out of it, and the pictures on the wall/bedside table.
